A stunning specimen of Willemite Fluorescent Slab 07 showing off the brightest fluorescence of all natural minerals Willemite. This rare special specimen is short and long wave fluorescent. The dark grey metal shown in the natural light photos is Zinc ore Franklinite. The white mineral is Mangano Calcite, shows as Pink with UVA Long Wave and Orange with UVC Short Wave. The Willemite is Bright Mesmerising Green under both fluorescent wave lengths. Pics taken with shortwave, longwave, and sunlight. Very cool stuff and this is one of my very favorite rocks. This is a small high quality specimen with bright fluorescence at a bargain price. The Slab is intended as a specimen and may have natural fractures which may not make it suitable for Lapidary work.

ROGERLEY MINE FLUORITE CRYSTALS
Specimen of Rogerley Mine Fluorite Crystals from Weardale. This cluster has good large crystal formation. We have taken photos indoors, outside and also under long wave ultraviolet light. This particular specimen shows daylight fluorescence (The Blue edging of Green Fluorite Crystals). An all round good clean specimen of Rogerley with almost no matrix – check out the pics. Grab a piece of geological history now and spend hours admiring the amazing cubic form and fluorescent properties of this great English mineral specimen. We have stocked this incredible green Fluorite since we first started dealing minerals many moons ago. We stock a range of pieces from different pockets at the mine. The mine has pockets which come and go, pieces like this rise in value.

UVC SHORTWAVE LAMP FILTERED at a bargain price. 4 Watts, uses 4 X AA batteries. Portable handheld used for checking out shortwave mineral fluorescence and phosphorescence. This Lamp has a glass filter which is a UVC Pass filter to block out white light and allow only shortwave light at 254 nM to pass. The lamp also has a bright LED torch at the end – so you can see your way in the dark and inspect minerals in brighter light. They have a small stand. Minerals not included. Batteries not included. More than 80% of Fluorescent minerals fluoresce in Short Wave Ultra violet light. Simple to use and easy to carry in your pocket. This is the cheapest filtered UVC Shortwave Lamp available.

SiO2 · nH2O.A colourless variety of Opal. Hyalite is opal, an amorphous silica glass containing about 3-8% water. Hyalite occurs as globular and botryoidal masses and irregular crusts. Found in volcanic and pegmatite environments where the silica deposits from the gas phase. It often shows a strong green fluorescence in UV light.

FOSSIL BACULITE
An ancient Fossil Baculite. These are super popular and affordable. Suitable for kids as they aren’t too fragile (for a fossil) and a great way to start or boost your own collection. An amazing natural fossil from eons past. Baculites, genus of extinct Cephalopods (animals related to the modern squid, octopus, and nautilus) found as fossils in Late Cretaceous marine rocks (formed from 99.6 million to 65.5 million years ago). One pic with long wave UV light shows some fluorescence. This specimen has been mounted on a perspex pad for enhanced display. You can see calcified dendritic formations clearly.
