A stunning Pyrite Dollar Medium. This is a natural formation of Pyrite and something quite different to the usual more cubic looking varieties. Striations radiate out from the centre. Our Suns are hand selected at the source for their excellent quality. We are well known for our metals range and have pyrite specimens showing cubic, orbicular and octahedral crystals, as well as these suns. Pyrite (“fools gold”) is popular with all age groups. A great piece for the collector of unusual pieces. This Pyrite Sun comes with a perspex stand for display and looks even better in person.

A stunning specimen of Willemite Fluorescent Franklin 006 showing off the brightest fluorescence of all natural minerals Willemite. This rare special specimen is short and long wave fluorescent and features large areas of Willemite and Franklinite. The dark grey metal shown in the natural light photos is Zinc ore Franklinite. The white mineral is Mangano Calcite which in this case shows BIP Brief Intense Phosphorescence. Pics taken with shortwave, longwave, and sunlight. Very cool stuff and this is one of my very favorite rocks. To view this spectacular specimen you will need a UVC Shortwave Lamp and UVA Longwave Lamp. Make sure you wear safety glasses. Willemite Franklinite Calcite is also known as the Christmas Tree Rock for the colours Green and Red. This is a quality collectable specimen with wow factor.

VERA CRUZ AMETHYST CRYSTALS
A beautiful Vera Cruz Amethyst Crystals cluster! One of those crystals you know the location of as soon as you see it. Delicately coloured, well terminated and with some small crystals and Calcite Quartz matrix. Treat yourself. Mounted for enhanced display on a perspex pad. Vera Cruz Amethyst shows the triagonal habit of this quartz, with three of the 6 sides much larger than the other three, giving a triangular look to it.
Amethyst: A purple variety of quartz. The colour is caused by iron (Fe4+) impurities.

A unique combo specimen of a Fluorite Barite Cluster. Beautiful golden Barite Crystals on amazing blue-green Fluorite. Outstanding! Such a beautiful piece with an interesting combination. Even without light behind it the colour of the fluorite is easily discerned. The lovely translucent crystals make for a stunning display piece. This is an unusual colour for fluorite. Stunning beautiful specimen of YELLOW CALCITE FLUORESCENT. Fluorescent with Long and Short Wave UV. This specimen still has a little dirt on it. Our photos do no justice to this specimens bright colours under fluorescence. This location is now closed. There is a slim layer of bright yellow material in the crust which fluoresces orange, this specimen proved hard to photograph.
