Small Ammonite Pair, beautifully polished. Featuring great markings and some iridescence on the outside. Parts of the fossil have started to turn to calcite. This is a small, natural fossil specimen. An amazing artifact and a natural example of the Fibonacci sequence. Also from the center out, the spiral increases at the ratio of Phi or the golden section, 1.618. The distance of the planets from the Sun average the Phi Ratio. This number is also related to Pi and the Fibonacci Sequence. This Phi Ratio is used by nearly all religions and cults and is a big part of Sacred Geometry. A super and ancient gift for the natural history enthusiast. Ammonites are at least 60 million years old!

We do have a Fossil Whale Inner Ear Bone 03 for sale, some pics of this specimen on this page. They seem to have been of denser bone than the rest of the whale skeleton, so they were better preserved. The auditory bulla is a bony cover for the delicate middle ear bones and tissues. In humans it is part of our temporal bone. Whales have several adaptations in their ears for hearing underwater. Tympanic bone.
