A handsome polished Septarian Egg. An interesting combination fossil and mineral specimen many millions of years old. This Septarian Egg shows stunning calcification and great marbling geometry. This is an exceptionally good specimen from our personal collection. This material is also fluorescent. Included is a beautiful Hematite ring stand to display this handsome Egg. Blue Amber Specimen or fossil tree sap. Amber is a beautiful stone that is cut and polished and used as a valuable gemstone. It is also a fossil and can contain many preserved insects and other animals and plants that are tens of millions of years old. This specimen fluoresces electric blue under LW UV light. It looks brown under normal light. Age is the early Oligocene period and is of Sinamar Formation approximately 30 million years old. Some photos are take with back lighting, natural indoor and UV Long Wave. One side is polished and the other is rough.

Fossil Ammonites with a natural formation of Pyrite are uncommon and only come from a few locations in the world. This is a natural fossil specimen. An amazing artifact and a natural example of the Fibonacci sequence. Also from the center out, the spiral increases at the ratio of Phi or the golden section, 1.618. This number is also related to Pi and the Fibonacci Sequence.

Carcharocles Megalodon have been extinct for around 3-15 million years. The largest marine predator known to have lived on our planet.
Carcharocles Megalodon roamed the world’s coasts for a very long time. Evidence shows them being around as far back as 16 million years ago, and as recently as 2.6 million years ago. And, yes: they did have very big teeth. That’s what Megalodon means (enormous tooth). The biggest so far found measures some 18cm.
