A huge specimen of stunning Golden Calcite Crystals on matrix. Dozens of double-terminated golden crystals in a cluster formation, with some galena and chalcopyrite also visible. Calcite is a very popular mineral that comes in a variety of colours and shapes, often with cool optical properties or metal associations. An amazing Himalayan quartz cluster almost totally covered with Chlorite, inside and out! Many small quartz crystals line the main two crystals. There is one point that has clear quartz showing along with the characteristic chlorite formations inside. This is a classic from Nepal, one of many great minerals from the Himalayan range. This specimen has only just been released from our private collection.
