AUSSIE NEPHRITE JADE ROUGH 04
Aussie Nephrite Jade Rough 04 ready for a crafts person to carve or make jewellery with. This is genuine true black nephrite jade from Cowell, South Australia (where the best Black Jade in the world comes from). This variant of jade is becoming more scarce and is used, in particular, for carving into super-lustrous pendants and jewellery. One of the toughest rocks on the planet. The Black colour is from an inclusion of Iron of up to 8%. This is one of the specimens from a lot of 1000kg. Some you can still see the old mine grading marks with the grade and initials of the person who graded it. When we procured this lot we were told it came out of an old rusted out container from the 70’s.
Some pics are with wet and dry stone to show the quality of colour and reflection. This stone is best polished with aluminium oxide then diamond to get the mirror finish. Good Black Jade with some inclusions and a few grain lines.

The colour is near black with a few grain lines. Some slight hints of Chatoyant form.

CRYSTAL CLEAR AQUAMARINE SPECIMEN
A beautiful, natural Crystal Clear Aquamarine Specimen. This is a specimen with gemmy, well formed and very clear Aquamarine. A beautiful, natural Tabular Aquamarine Crystals on Matrix. This is a specimen with gemmy, well formed crystals. The Crystals are aesthetic, beautiful and large. CHRYSOPRASE SLAB LEMON
Beautiful Chrysoprase Slab Lemon Aussie stone. An amazing colour for a stone of light Lemon shades. Usually reserved for jewellers, quality specimens like this are hard to come by and attract high prices. The slab is good thickness and looks great. A great Aussie Gemstone. This is a good specimen for collection, but I think it will be made into jewellery. This material is called Lemon Chrysoprase and seldom seen available to buy. The slab has been tumble polished.

This material will polish to a stunning black luster. Nephrite Jade is the toughest of all naturally occurring materials.
