GLAUBERITE CRYSTALS
A lovely specimen of Glauberite Crystals. Initially these specimens are clear when first fished out of the mud with cut and bloodied hands. They turn white after contact with the Oxygen in the air. The fossicker who fished this one told me the second day was worse when cuts on his fingers were roughed up again. This happens when feeling around deep in the mud for them. Great fun. This is a rare and unusual Aussie mineral. The last big one found in an old box.

MALACHITE PSEUDOMORPH AZURITE
A rare mineral specimen of Malachite Pseudomorph after Azurite. You can see that the Malachite is not in one of its natural forms, but instead is more like Azurite. A pseudomorph is when one mineral is chemically replaced by another mineral without changing the external form of the original mineral. In this case the Malachite has replaced the original Azurite mineral. Bright flashes of green from chatoyancy striations of the Malachite. Azurite shows good forms of chisel top tabular prismatic crystals jutting out from the matrix. Very collectible piece, both for it is a pseudomorph and a rare mineral from a great location. An excellent gift or treat for the mineral collector and a must for the Collection. For enhanced display is mounted on perspex pad, ready to go straight into your cabinet.

SMALL AMMONITE PAIR
Small Ammonite Pair, beautifully polished. Featuring great markings and some iridescence on the outside. Parts of the fossil have started to turn to calcite. This is a small, natural fossil specimen. An amazing artifact and a natural example of the Fibonacci sequence. Also from the center out, the spiral increases at the ratio of Phi or the golden section, 1.618. The distance of the planets from the Sun average the Phi Ratio. This number is also related to Pi and the Fibonacci Sequence. This Phi Ratio is used by nearly all religions and cults and is a big part of Sacred Geometry. A super and ancient gift for the natural history enthusiast.
