You don’t have to sacrifice quality for size as this Galena Cluster Small specimen shows. What a cool little piece, an interesting cluster with some skeletal and some twinned crystals. It will only take up a small amount of space in the collection, though I suspect front of shelf too. Galena is one of those really collectible metals that comes from a range of locations and in different shapes. I love the Bulgarian variety and you could have a whole collection of different ones from that location alone.

A stunning cluster of a geometrically shaped Barite Crystal Stack. There is no matrix on this piece, just pure, well formed crystals which make it an ideal addition to a collection. Also known as Baryte, it is named after the Greek word for ‘weight’ which is considerable for a non-metallic material. A very nice specimen 🙂 and not so easy to find lately.

An incredible metal specimen featuring Galena Quartz Sphalerite crystals. The base of Galena is covered in tetrahedral Sphalerite with cubic Galena crystals on top. Thin, clear, terminated Quartz crystals cluster around them. Some pyrite or chalcopyrite is also visible on the matrix. This is why Bulgarian minerals are so cool and so highly sought after.
