SHUNGITE
Shungite is a very popular mineral for its many interesting uses, including water purification and its metaphysical properties. As you may notice when comparing the size with the weight of this mineral, it is very light. That is the carbon component at hand. It is also the carbon that lends itself to water purification. These specimens come with a pouch. What you see is what you get – the photos are the exact same as what you will receive.
Shungite is an intriguing material. The name of the stone comes from the village of Shunga not far from the Zazhoginskoy mine. Shungite has unique mineral properties. The solid possesses sorption, catalytic and antibacterial properties. It has been known of for centuries in Russia where people would bath in water from the area for its curative properties.
Shungite has been used in medical treatment since the early 18th century. Peter the Great set up Russia’s first spa in Karelia to make use of the water purifying properties of shungite, which he had himself experienced. He also instigated its use in providing purified water for the Russian army. The anti-bacterial properties of shungite have been confirmed by modern testing.

DANBURITE CRYSTAL
DANBURITE CRYSTAL
A large sized Danburite Crystal with good termination. Slightly pink in colour and with some well formed Calcite growth over more than one side. It is hard to find Danburite in this size. A super collectable piece for the mineral collector or crystal healer. This mineral is getting a lot harder to find, possibly because of its location. With crystals similar to topaz, danburite offers a unique opportunity for a collector who likes perfectly transparent crystal clusters. People who admire clear quartz will like the different look of danburite. Its diamond shaped cross section and wedge like termination is a contrast to quartz’s hexagonal prisms and pyramidal terminations.

MADAGASCAN QUARTZ CRYSTAL
Introducing a beautiful, double terminated, polished, Madagascan Quartz Crystal. This piece is actually two crystals that have grown together, both with double terminations. The crystals have been expertly polished to make them even more magical! In fact, this is one of the best Madagascan crystals I have seen. It is large, fits the hand well and is slightly smoky too. While this Madagascan Quartz Crystal is certainly worthy of any collection, it is a healing crystal and will be of the most benefit to the person using it for those purposes. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind, twin, double terminated smoky quartz crystal. A very special quartz crystal indeed.
