Stunning Pyritised Ammonite Fossil specimen. This specimen is large and heavy to hold for it’s size in the hand. Fossil Ammonites with a natural formation of Pyrite are uncommon and only come from a few locations in the world. This is a natural fossil specimen. An amazing artifact and a natural example of the Fibonacci sequence. Also from the center out, the spiral increases at the ratio of Phi or the golden section, 1.618.
