ZIRCON CRYSTAL LARGE RARE
Zircon Crystal Large Rare. Also known as a Zircon Bomb, for their habit of being fired out of volcanoes and landing like one. This is a well formed Crystal specimen. Deep red colour in the sunlight and fluorescent yellow under UVA and UVC. It is rare to get yellow fluorescent minerals let alone in Crystal form. A super collectors specimen and rare. Classic location too. This is only the second time in 10 years we have offered one of these for sale, the last one lasted 2 days.

SPINEL CRYSTAL
SPINEL CRYSTAL
Stunning little Burmese Spinel Crystal to add to your collection. This one is brightly fluorescent. A good size showing a partial classic Spinel Crystal shape which other minerals of the same shape are referred to. We picked this on up from a trip to Myanmar many years ago. The pics were from outside and under UVA. It is Chromium that makes Rubies and Spinels red in colour. The only difference between Ruby and Spinel is Spinel has Magnesium. The crystal shape is usually an Octahedron.

TOP ROGERLEY FLUORITE CLUSTER
TOP ROGERLEY FLUORITE CLUSTER
Specimen of Top Rogerley Fluorite Cluster from Weardale. We have held the price down on this one so it is very affordable and can be tucked away into your collection for safe keeping. This cluster has good crystal coverage on top, with well formed, clear crystals. We have taken photos indoors, outside and also under long wave ultraviolet light. Some pics show small Galena Crystals on the Fluorite Crystals. This particular specimen shows great daylight fluorescence. Grab a piece of geological history now and spend hours admiring the amazing cubic form and fluorescent properties of this great English mineral specimen. We have stocked this incredible green Fluorite since we first started dealing minerals many moons ago. We stock a range of pieces from different pockets at the mine. The mine has now closed down and pieces like this are already rising in value. Our photos do no justice to this top quality specimen, it was hard to show the deep forest green of the Fluorite due to high daylight fluorescence. Some pics look a little washed out under direct sunlight. Just couldn’t capture the brilliant translucent emerald green colour of this stunning specimen.

BLUE AMBER SMALL
BLUE AMBER SMALL
A beautiful Blue Amber Small specimen. This is a truly amazing material, indoors it has a translucent golden red hue, outdoors it looks blue to purple, so some kind of fluorescence or natural colour change is taking place here. Under long wave UV light it fluoresces electric blue (photo with the black background). Being Amber, or fossilised tree gum, it is extremely light for its size. The ethereal look and feel of this stuff make it a compelling addition to the collection. This piece would be suitable for cutting into a magical looking gem too. Bet you can’t put it down! A great gift or treat for the collector of the unusual. Comes in a little drawstring pouch.

FLUORITE CRYSTAL ROGERLEY
FLUORITE CRYSTAL ROGERLEY
Stunning cute specimen Fluorite Crystal Rogerley. Three pics indoor (green), outdoor (green and blue) and LW UV light (blue). Fluorite from the Rogerley Mine is highly sought after for its daylight fluorescence and the top quality crystals it forms. This piece is no exception, showing a stunning emerald green colour indoors and turning electric blue when under UV light and some where in between in day light (as the sun naturally radiates UV light). The daylight fluorescence is particularly marked in overcast weather, but very noticeable in any conditions. Photos are taken both indoors and under Long Wave UV light. This Crystal has good Cubic form with a penetrating twin.

RED RUBY SPECIMEN
RED RUBY SPECIMEN
This crystal is a beautiful natural Red Ruby Specimen in white matrix. Great deep colour and an excellent specimen with natural crystal formation from this location. Under magnification with a 10x there are many interesting inclusions on the matrix including metals like Pyrite. The third pic of this piece are taken under long wave ultraviolet light showing extreme fluorescence. Just one of the interesting features of this mineral.
