A beautiful Vera Cruz Amethyst Crystals cluster! One of those crystals you know the location of as soon as you see it. Delicately coloured, well terminated and with some small crystals and Calcite Quartz matrix. Treat yourself. This Vera Cruz Amethyst shows the triagonal habit of this quartz, with three of the 6 sides much larger than the other three, giving a triangular look to it.
Amethyst: A purple variety of quartz. The colour is caused by iron (Fe4+) impurities.

SiO2 · nH2O.A colourless variety of Opal. Hyalite is opal, an amorphous silica glass containing about 3-8% water. Hyalite occurs as globular and botryoidal masses and irregular crusts. Found in volcanic and pegmatite environments where the silica deposits from the gas phase. It often shows a strong green fluorescence in UV light.
