A Large specimen! This is a very Pyrite Cluster Large in size fro Mexico, featuring many crystals grown together in a massive cluster. It is nice to see a large specimen that still has bright shiny crystals showing. An awesome piece that would grace any collection.
The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, is an iron sulfide which has the chemical formula FeS2. This mineral’s metallic luster and pale brass yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool’s gold.Dimensions:

A beautiful Pyrrhotite Sphalerite Cluster also featuring small quartz crystals, on matrix. The Pyrrhotite crystals are medium sized. Looks like an interesting Sphalerite Crystal in the crevice of the matrix. This is a great piece to show the different shapes of the two minerals, which are often found together. A very nice piece from a collectible location. Pyrrhotite crystals are rare and hard to come by.

An unusual cluster with Chalcopyrite Galena Sphalerite all in one! A classic mineral combo from Madan of three important ores. The matrix is a mix of galena and sphalerite with cubic chalcopyrite crystals on top. Several of the chalco crystals on the specimen are multicoloured, giving the whole piece an otherworldly appearance. A great addition to a metals collection for the formation and location.
